What Excuse Can I Offer…

for not posting all of my news here as it happens? None really other than busy, busy busy!

Busy working with my good friend and business partner, Val to build up our website, MomChats.com which we have created to be a free chatroom site for Moms. There are online parties (like home parties, except online) going on there almost every night, and monthly shopping events we sponsor through the site to give our chatroom users a venue to promote their products. Best part is it’s become a virtual shopping mall for Moms! (Even gave her a little sister-site with our latest WAHMchats.com)

Busy with Val, and our other partner Anita, creating a social networking site for Work at Home Moms at MyWAHMSpace.com to provide them with a venue to promote their businesses, meet other WAHMs, share their experiences, and learn from each other. Sort of like My Space, but for WAHMs.

AND busy here, though behind the scenes tweaking code (yes, part of my Coordinator duties - lol), switching product lines for the scrapbook shoppe, then needing to close it for awhile (we’re in redesign-mode with that shoppe). I am happy to say that I’ve most recently been busy adding new lines to our Retreat Shoppes - a line of Greeting Cards (okay over 10, 000 cards to choose from ) and a line of bath and body products through our newest Home Spa Shoppe.

So there you have it - I will always be doing something here at Mom’s Online Retreat. Took the summer to re-evaluate things here, cleaned house a little bit - built us up some resources even considered fixing up the site to sell. But just couldn’t do it. I love this site! I love the potential we have to create a real hideout for Moms! And so my next post will be a sneak peek of some things to come, because we’re not done here! Not by a long shot! Hang on - there’s so much more to come!
